Morndas, 9:50 PM, 17th of Last Seed, 4E 201

I thought keeping a Journal of my events would help me remember of why I traveled in the first place. What really seems to be my main problem right now is keeping a low enough profile that these bandits don't recognize me. I guess it is not always easy being a noble traveling without an escort. Allow me to explain if someone ever finds this journal on a dead body:

I am a noble from the Royal Court in Cyrodiil, and to make sure no one knows who I am I will keep my name a secret for now. I was trying to recover my family's heirloom that will prove my birthright as the next representative. It is of enough significance for me to run away from my only shelter and try to seek this out without any sort of escort or mention of my intentions. Pretty stupid when I think about it now, but it is already too late.

Right now, though, I had just escaped from a city called "Helgen" where something along the lines of a winged-beast that exhumed flames from his mouth attacked and summoned meteors from the sky. I am almost certain that I heard them say it was a "dragon" but I am not too keen on that idea right now, so I will just lock it away for safekeeping for later. There was a nice enough man to escort me through Helgen to meet his uncle Alvor in one of the local villages, I stayed there for a day to rest up and find some more... appropriate clothing to mask my disguise. His name was Hadvar, I will have to remember him for later.

I heard of some bandits taking home up in the mountains, so I went to investigate to see if maybe I could find more information on my family's blade. But, that turned into them knowing who I was saying that there was a bounty on my head, and that it would be a shame if I were to live long enough to find out where the sword lay in ruin. So, now, I am delving into these old, murky ruins searching for answers. Apparently there is some coin available in here also...
